The
Heater Control Loop
is a setting from 1 to 10 and refers to how quickly
the operator wants the DECI to achieve the desired tank temperature. The
lower settings allow for the tank to heat up gradually, while the closer the
setting is to ten, the faster the tank will heat up, and the more energy is used
by the machine. to reach the set temperature.
Heater Duty Cycle
controls the duty cycle for the heater control. The heater
uses pulse width modulation to control energy going into the system. For
example the a setting of a 1 minute duty cycle with 50% heater output would
mean the heater is on for 30 seconds and off for 30 seconds.
The next series of
Setup
screens control the settings for the DECI Heater. To advance to the Heater Configuration,

The
High Temp Alarm Limit
controls at what temperature the Over
Temperature alarm will become active. This is usually set at a temperature that
would protect parts from becoming damaged.
The
Pump Cycle Wait Time
sets the desired amount of time between pump
activations. The Pump Cycle Wait Time is set in minutes using the slider or the
+ / - buttons. The example to the left shows that the pump is set to run every
ten minutes.
