1. Operation
1.6 Alarms and Warnings
When the DECI encounters an alarm condition, the
ALARM
icon displays the number of active
alarms and warnings. To see what the alarm is indicating press the
ALARM
button (shown right) to
access the
Alarms and Warnings
screen. On the screen (

the DECI provides information about issues the operator should address.
Along the top the number of Alarms and Warnings are displayed.
RED BUTTONS
– are an indication of a condition that must be acted upon immediately to avoid damage to the
DECI or injury. For an explanation of the various Alarm conditions refer to
Section 1.6.1 Alarm Conditions

YELLOW BUTTONS
– indicate conditions that should be investigated but do not pose an immediate danger of
damage or injury. For an explanation of the various Warning conditions refer to
Section 1.6.2 Warning Conditions

Filter Screen Maintenance Due
- Once the preset time between filter cleanings is reached, the Filter Screen
Maintenance Alarm will alert the operator.
pH Sensor Maintenance Due
– Based on the set schedule between pH sensor maintenance, once the time has
expired the alarm activates to alert the operator.
1.6.1 Alarm Conditions
E-Stop
– If the
EMERGENCY STOP
is pressed, the E-STOP alarm is activated. Once the issue that caused the button
to be pressed has been identified and corrected, PULL the
EMERGENCY STOP
button to resume normal operations.
Low Tank Level
– If the fluid level in the tank drops below the level sensor, the Low Tank Level alarm is activated.
To resolve, add PolyGone™ (PG) by using the DOSE function. The DOSE process is explained in
Section 1.4 Manual
Operation Screens

Over Temperature
– If the fluid temperature rises above the set maximum allowable temperature the Over
Temperature alarm is activated. To resolve, the system temperature must drop below max temperature. Wait 30
minutes and then press the
CLEAR ALARM
button until the alarm condition clears.
Chamber Door Open
– If the chamber door is not fully closed, the DECI will not run. Completely close the door
and then press the
CLEAR ALARM
button.
To avoid machine damage, NEVER slam the chamber door.
