The
Run Time
tab allows the operator to control the percentage of time that a specific spray configuration
and speed level will be active during the selected level. Each of the four segments can be designated to
operate a selected amount of time up to 100%.
Using the gauges as shown at right, each
segment is set to be active for the specified
percentage of time while the DECI is in Level 1.
Keep in mind that the AGA will rotate agitation
performance through the various segments
based on the selected options. For example,
Segment 1 is designated to be in operation for
60% of Level 1 operation, while Segment 4 is set
to operate for 5% of Level 1 operation.
The
Taper
tab allows the operator to configure the valve configuration and speed settings as the cycle
time is winding down. Each segment can be designated to be dormant for a specific percentage of time
at the end of each cycle and works in conjunction with the Run Time settings. This flexibility will ensure
that the DECI is not randomly running higher energy valve configurations and speeds as the support
removal process is ending. In the example, the segments are set up as follows (see

):
Level 4
is set to 5% of total Run Time, and the
Taper setting means that Level 4 valve
configuration and speed will NOT run during the
last 10% of the cycle time.
Level 3
is set to 10% of total Run Time, and the
Taper setting means that Level 3 valve
configuration and speed will NOT run during the
last 7% of the cycle time.
Level 2
is set to 25% of total Run Time, and the
Taper setting means that Level 2 valve
configuration and speed will NOT run during the
last 3% of the cycle time.
Level 1
is set to 60% of total Run Time, and the
Taper setting means that Level 1 can run at any
time throughout the cycle
