2. Dosatrons
The DECI detergent solution is comprised of water and PolyGone™ (PG) (Parts A & B). The Dosatron manifold
consists of the Dosatron pumps, a pressure gauge, check valve, and ball valves (

. The Dosatrons use water pressure to extract the PolyGone™ and anti-foaming solutions from
containers below the chamber. The Dosatron should be located no more than 13 feet away from the containers
with detergent.
The particle filter should be cleaned according to the Dosatron Maintenance Schedule and cleaning procedures

2.1 Priming the Dosatrons
Anytime a new bucket of detergent or anti-foaming agent is being used; it is necessary to prime the Dosatrons
before the automatic operation can begin.
To prime the Dosatron:
• Place the Dosatron intake tube into the bucket of detergent or anti-foaming agent.
• From the
Controller
screen, enter Manual Mode Operation (See
Section 1.4 Manual Operation Screens
).
• Press the
DOSE
button and observe the liquid levels in the Dosatron intake tube.
• If the detergent or anti-foaming agent does not reach the Dosatron by the time the DECI tank is full, it is necessary
to drain the system. Press the
DRAIN
button and empty the system
• Once empty, press the
DOSE
button again and observe the liquid in the intake tube. It should now reach the
Dosatron.
• Once this occurs, press
DRAIN
to drain the system and repeat the “dosing”
process a final time.The Dosatron is now primed and “dosed” fluid is in the
process chamber.
