Brief Overview – Windshield wipers

Windshield wiper stalk

Switch for rain sensor sensitivity (

What do I want to do?

What do I have to do?

Wipe automatically at front

(rain sensor operation)

Press the stalk to detent position

Adjusting the rain sensor

operation sensitivity

Adjust switch

on the right of the stalk upwards (wipe more often) or downwards (wipe less often).

Wipe at front

Slow: Press the stalk to detent position

Fast: Press the stalk to detent position

Once: Briefly move stalk to position

(holding stalk in position

accelerates wiping action).

Spray and wipe at front

Pull stalk towards the steering wheel at position

and hold.

Wipe at rear (intermittent wiping)

Push switch

upwards to detent position
