Manual mode
When the ignition is on, the spoilers can be
extended and retracted manually using the button
in the center console.
When the spoilers are in manual mode or extended
as a result of selecting Sport Plus mode, the
indicator light on the button lights up.
Information
Please note the additional information on the multi-
function display.
Moving manually at 0–9 mph (0–15 km/h):

Press and hold button
to extend and
retract the spoilers.
The indicator light on the button flashes.
The indicator light comes on (extended) or
goes out (retracted) when the end position is
reached.
Moving manually above 9 mph (15 km/h):
f
Press button
briefly to extend the
spoilers.
The indicator light on the button comes on and
stays on.
f
Press button
briefly to retract the
spoilers.
The indicator light goes out.
The spoilers enter automatic mode.
Coupling with Sport Plus Mode
In Sport Plus mode, the spoilers are extended to
their end position at speeds above 15 km/h
(9 mph).
The indicator light on the button
comes on.
The spoilers are not retracted automatically.

Rear Axle Steering
Rear axle steering increases maneuverability and
agility with greater vehicle stability and reduces
the turning circle of the vehicle by approx. 23.6 in.
(0.6 m) compared to a vehicle without rear axle
steering.
The following techniques are used, depending on
the speed:
–
Up to approx. 30 mph (50 km/h):
“opposite-direction steering motion” for
greater agility (virtual shortening of
wheelbase).
–
Above approx. 50 mph (80 km/h):
“same-direction steering motion” for greater
stability (virtual extension of wheelbase).
