1. Component parts:
4-Methyl, 1-3 dioxolan-2-ones; CAS -

Risk identification:
Product isn’t qualified as hazardous.

Influence characteristics:
can cause irritation of respiratory ways, skin
and eyes when come in contact with matter, when swallowed – feeling sick,
vomiting, discomfort.
4. Work safety requirements:
Hand protection: rubber gloves
Eye protection: protective glasses with side protection.
Body protection: closed work clothes.
General safety and hygiene measures: store away from food and beverages, pet
food and drinks. It is forbidden to eat, drink or smoke at the work place. Before
breaks and after shift end clean hands and face.
Storing: separately away from food and pet food. Keep in closed and dry space at
temper15÷30
o
C. Do not allow any unsanctioned access and unforeseen
mixing with isocyanat.
5. First aid:
General suggestions: remove all clothing that got soaked with this matter.
When inhaled: If problems occur after breathing in of the vapor, then seek fresh air
or medical attention if discomfort is present.
When come in contact with skin: Carefully clean with soap and water.
When come in contact with eyes: Razing the eye brows clean eyes at least 15
minutes with big amounts of water, seek medical attention if discomfort doesn’t
end.
When swallowed: do not cause vomiting. Drink a lot of milk or water, seek medical
attention.
Do not allow groundwater penetration. Absorb leaked matter using sand or similar
material. Hand over waste according to local requirements.
6. Fire safety procedures:
Product is flammable and is not easy combustible. For putting out fire use foam or
powder. After putting out fire cool down with water containers and not completely
burned component. Use breathing device while putting out fire.
7. R-phrase:
R10 - flammable; R20/21/22 - hazardous to inhale, when comes in contact with skin
or when swallowed. R34 – causes burns; R36 – irritates eyes; R52/53 – toxic for
water organisms, can cause long term negative impact in water environment.
