HEATING MAIN MONTAGE INSTRUCTIONS  CV4.04 

 

8.2.1. ELECTRO-WELDING CONNECTION MONTAGE 

 

Necessary materials: 

-  heat-shrinkable PE sleeve; 

-  welding bands – 2 pieces; 
-  A and B components – 2 pieces; 
-  PE cork - 2 pieces; 
-  materials for alarm system installation (when planned). 

Montage equipment and instruments: 

-  electro-welding machine with steel clapms and electric cable; 
-  gas torch; 
-  soldering burner (for alarm wires); 
-  measuring bowl - 2 pieces; 
-  bowl for mixing and filling of components; 
-  mixer; 
-  sand paper (rough on fabric base); 
-  degreasing liquid (for example: toluol); 
-  brush or a rag; 
-  protective goggles and gloves; 
-  hand drilling machine; 
-  drills: Ø27,5 mm, Ø25 mm and Ø3 mm; 
-  PE electronic cork welder; 
-  megahommeter for alarm system testing. 

 
Montage sequence: 

 

          

 

 
 
 

 

1.  Centralize  the  shrinkable  casing  over 

the  joint  area  and  mark  the  ends  of 
the  casing  all  the  way  around  the 
jacket  pipe.  Grind  the  ends  with  an 
emery  cloth  –  grain  40.  Clean  the 
jacket  pipe  with  ethyl  alcohol  after 
grinding.

  

 

                 

 

 
 

2.  Mount  the  copper  welding  band 

around  the  jacket  pipe,  app.  30  mm 
from  the  casing  mark.  Ensure  a 
distance of 6-8 mm between the band 
ends. 

                 

 

3. Place casing over the welding bands. 

Bend  the  terminals  45°  away  from
