User’s Manual of IGSW-2840

Example 4: Saving or Restoring Configuration Settings

You can upload/download

configuration settings

to/from a TFTP server. The configuration files can be later downloaded to

restore the Industrial Managed Switch’s settings.

1. Click System



File Management



Copy Operation

2. Select “

running-config to tftp

” or “

startup-config to tftp

” as the file transfer method, enter the

IP address

of the TFTP

server.

3. Enter a new file name for the configuration to upload, and click

Apply

1. The file “

Factory_Default_Config.cfg

” can be copied to the TFTP server, but cannot

be used as the destination on the Industrial Managed Switch.

2. The maximum number of user-defined configuration files is limited only by available

flash memory space.
