Do not touch any connectors, terminals or board components when handling
this unit to prevent damage due to electrostatic discharge.
Note:

Installation of this unit requires a high level of technical expertise; for this reason, and
to assure safe operation, installation is to be performed by authorized Pioneer service
personnel. For details, contact your dealer.

Make sure all mounting screws are properly tightened. Vibrations produced by DVD
recorder disc rotation may cause improperly tightened screws to rattle and eventually
come loose leading to unforeseeable injuries or property damage.

Use only designated mounting screws. Use of other screws may result in damage to
this unit or the DVD recorder.

Disconnect all cables and the power cord from the DVD recorder before installation to
prevent fire, electric shock and equipment damage.

The PRA-BD11 input board and the PRA-BD12 output board look similar as do the their
accessories. Make sure that the accessories are connected to the correct board and
that the boards are correctly connected.
Attempting to operate this unit or the DVD recorder when it has been installed or
connected incorrectly may cause damage to the unit or DVD recorder.
4-pin cables
The PRA-BD11 input board and the PRA-
BD12 output board are supplied with 4-
pin cables of different length.
Make sure that the cables are connected
to the designated unit.
FFC cables
The PRA-BD11 input board is supplied
with two FFC cables: a narrow FFC cable
(M) and a wide FFC cable (L).
The PRA-BD12 output board is supplied
with a single FFC cable (L).
