Symptom
Audio input via AES/EBU is
broken up and cannot be
correctly output from the DVD
recorder.
Cause/Remedy
÷
Check whether an AES/EBU signal synchronized with
the video input selected on the DVD recorder is input.
If “
SDI
” and “
AES/EBU
” do not appear as options under [
V input
] and [
A input
] on the
STATUS
section of the DVD recorder’s
Function Menu
, contact your dealer.

Symptom
Video/audio signals input to the
DVD recorder are not output to
the industrial VTR monitor
connected to the
SDI
and
AES/EBU
output connectors.
A DVD playback image cannot
be monitored on an industrial
VTR connected to the
SDI
output connectors.
Nor is audio available (ditto
AES/EBU
output).
Compressed audio cannot be
output via the
AES/EBU
connectors.
Cause/Remedy
÷
Check whether the unit is correctly connected to the
industrial VTR.
÷
Check that the DVD recorder is in the playback,
preview or recording mode. Video/audio inputs are not
output when the DVD recorder is idle. Video/audio
output from the output connectors of this board
operate in the same way as the DVD recorder's
monitor output connectors (Decoder Out).
* Video/audio data is not output when playing back
content containing signals preventing unauthorized
copying to protect copyright holders, etc
* The PRA-BD12 does not support through output
of SDI and AES/EBU signals via the PRA-BD11 (SDI
AES/EBU input board).
÷
Check whether the unit is correctly connected to the
industrial VTR.
÷
Video/audio from a copyrighted DVD disc cannot be
output via the
SDI
and
AES/EBU
output connectors.
÷
This unit does not support the output of compressed
audio.
Use the digital audio output connectors on the DVD
recorder.
