serves for adjusting the massage intensity
as desired. It refers to the

. Allocated to the
control is the
turn-down indicator <8>
, which lights up whenever

intensity control <6>
is to be turned down to zero. The timer
starts running with regulation of the
intensity control <6>
.
2.1.7 Intensity Display <7>
The
intensity display <7>
shows the massage intensity selected (in
% of the maximum value).
2.1.8 Turn-Down Indicator <8>
The
turn-down indicator <8>
is allocated next to the
intensity con-
trol <6>
. It flashes whenever the
intensity control <6>
should be
turned to zero. This is the case following self-test routine, after time
has elapsed and when attempting to extend massage duration with
the intensity turned high.
2.1.9 Connector Sockets <9>
The
connector sockets <9>
serve for connecting the spiral leads. For
instructions how to connect the spiral leads refer to section
on page 13.
The symbols below the
connector sockets <9>
have the following significance:
The patient lead is not connected to the protective ground wire for maximum pro-
tection of the patient (the equipment is protection class I, type BF).
Please consider the physiological effects when applying vibration induced by electro-
static fields to the patient!
