With infinite resistance, the pump does notrotate.

With resistance close to 0

Ω

the pumpabsorbs too much, with the possibility of burning the 10-A fuse no. 2.

Performthe following check.

Disconnect the connector from
the pump support. Using a
tester, measure the pump
winding resistance.

Connect the tester prods to the
pump support pins as shown in
the figure.

Resistance

= ~ 1.5

Ω

In case of infinite resistance,
replace the pump.
