The bell timing is

ensured by the balance weight

and that it is pulled by the
spring.

- Place the engine with the
valve clearance adjustment
timing references aligned with
the head.

- Check the clearance
between valve and rocker
using a thickness gauge.

Prescribed clearance:

intake 0.15 mm (with

- In case of different values,
adjust by loosening the lock
nut and using a screwdriver
for the adjuster, as shown in
the figure.
