Notes on using the ratchet lever hoist
N.B.:
Before use, make sure that the intended suspension points can safely cope with the loads.
The user must make sure that the suspension points are big enough.
Operating instructions
Safety information
Ratchet lever hoists are suitable for manual operation only.
The load may only be suspended from the load hook.
Hang the load from the hook in central position only.
Lifting:
Set the selector switch to the position“UP”.
Turn the lever (ratchet) clockwise to lift the
load.
Lowering:
Set the selector switch to the position“DOWN”.
Turn the lever (ratchet) anti-clockwise to
lower the load.
Chain release:
Activate only in the unloaded state.
Set the selector switch to“N”.
Turn the handwheel anti-clockwise to release the unloaded chain.
Never use the release function under load.
You can now pull the chain through by hand.
For freespooling of the medium it may be possible to open the
brake system only under the condition of low lowding.
The brake system shall automatically apply when the load on the
lifting medium is grater than 30 kg for capacities up to 1000 kg, and
greater than 3% of the rated load above 1000 kg.
In this respect, the load shall not be allowed to descent more than
300 mm, before the brake acts to stop the load falling.
