Intended use
The ratchet lever hoist is designed for the lifting, lowering, pulling and lashing of loads.
The use of mechanical drives with this ratchet lever hoist is prohibited.
This ratchet lever hoist is not suitable for use in locations subject to explosion hazards.
This ratchet lever hoist is not suitable for use in aggressive environments.
Our express written permission must be obtained in advance before making any modifications to this
ratchet lever hoist and before fitting any attachments to it.
Be sure to read the "Technical data" and the "Description of functions"!
Accident prevention regulations
The regulations in force in the country of use must be observed.

Safety instructions
Operation and maintenance are to be performed only by:
Authorized, qualified personnel
(Definition of skilled workers according to IEC 364)
Qualified personnel are persons who, by virtue of their training, experience, instruction and knowledge of pertinent
standards and provisions, accident prevention regulations and operating conditions, are authorized by those
responsible for the system's safety to perform an essential activity and who are able to recognize and avoid the
hazards which may arise in connection with the activity in question.
The ratchet lever hoist must not be used to convey persons. No persons are allowed to remain within the
hoist's danger zone.
It is prohibited to stand underneath a suspended load.
Never reach into moving parts.
Defects must be rectified immediately by expert personnel.
Never leave a suspended load unsupervised.
High-strength parts such as chains, hooks and transmission components should be kept clear of free
hydrogen, acids, alkalis, vapors and very aggressive cleaning agents.
