Managing Methods

The name of the active method is grayed-out in the file name list that appears for

Delete, Open, Activate, and Save As. If you enter the same name as the active

method, the following message appears:

File Menu

The pop up File menu includes options to create, modify, store, and delete

methods. The Exit Editor option closes the Method Edit screen and displays the

view that appeared when the user invoked the Method Editor Tools option.

During a run, the Activate menu option is grayed-out since you cannot activate a

different method during a run.

New Method

When you need to develop a new method select

New Method

from the pop up

File menu.

If your current method has not been saved, touching

New Method

displays the

following dialog box:

If you select

Yes

, the Save As dialog box appears.
