with broken spring
After climbing procedure is com-
pleted, replace the climbing device
or have repairs carried out by PERI!
Risk of crushing!
Do not touch if the load is moving!
In the event of a broken leg spring in the
cylinder base, tip back the climbing de-
vice (1) by hand into the climbing rail (9).
This procedure is necessary in order to
replace the cylinder.
Procedure:
1. Retract piston until the claw (1.1) is
guided around the climbing bolts (9.1).
2. If the claw does not remain in the rail:
position claw (1.1) by hand between
the profiles of the climbing rail.

3. If the cylinder head remains in the rail:
extend the cylinder so that the claws
(1.1) engage the climbing bolts (9.1).
Are all claws engaged on the climbing
bolts?
Also use this procedure in the event of
forward or laterally inclined climbing
rails.
