D3.1 Operating the hydraulic pump
3. Extending the climbing device:
– If it is not the case, activate the
Climbing Shoe (5) on which the
climbing device is placed, see D3.7.
– Extend the pistons of all the hydraulic
cylinders up to the first climbing bolt
(9.1). Load is carried by the claw on the
piston (1.1).
Are all claws engaged on the climbing
bolts? If necessary, deactivate the other
climbing shoes, see D3.8.

4. Retracting the climbing device:
– Push the hand valve (3.1) downwards.
Cylinder retracts.
