•
R: value of the resistance calculated.
•
Rho: resistivity value calculated from measurements of resistance and geometric
constant K.
•
Sigma: mean square deviation value calculated on the repetitions of the
measurement reported as a percentage of the measurement value.
•
dVnm: value of the potential difference measured between electrodes M and N.
•
Iab: value of the current intensity measured between electrodes M and N.
•
SP: value of the spontaneous potential measured between electrodes A and B.
•
IP: measured value of the induced polarisation.
•
K: geometric coefficient calculated from the relative position of the electrodes.
•
Freq: frequency value used for performing the measurement.
To perform the measurements of a session, those of interest must first be selected. This
can be done for individual measurements, one by one, by checking the box in the Meas
(measurement) column. Another way is to use the boxes above the table, which allows
the user to select or deselect all the measurements; to select or deselect only the
measurements that have not yet been performed; to select or deselect only the
measurements that have already been performed and whose Sigma value is higher than
the threshold configured for the session.
If the “Step: single measurement” box is checked, it will be necessary to press the
“Perform single measurement” button for each individual measurement, otherwise all the
selected measurements will be performed in sequence without operator intervention.
By pressing the “Stop Measurements” button, the user can stop the measurement
sequence and return to the measurement control screen.
After selecting the measurements, press the “Perform measurements” button to proceed
with their execution.
On the table, the line corresponding to the measurement being performed or just
performed is highlighted in grey.
Highlighted in yellow are the measurements that were performed and returned a Sigma
value higher than the maximum value configured for the session. Measurements that have
been performed and an error has been found are highlighted in red.
It is possible to delete some measurements by selecting them as described above and
pressing the “Delete measurements” button. In this case, the selected measurements will
be returned to the unperformed status, and can be performed again later.
