If the file is correctly formed, the name of the input file will be shown on the page as
“Custom measurement file”.
Format of the measurement input file
The file must be formatted as follows:
•
the first line shall show the sequence of electrode roles separated by commas, e.g.
“a,b,m,n”, or “A, M, N, B”, or “p1, p2, c1, c2”, or “C1,C2,P1,P2”; the sequence of roles
may be chosen by the operator, but must be consistent with the other lines in the file;
•
in the following lines, one for each measurement, the identifiers of the electrodes
playing the role of the column must be reported, separated by commas, spaces are
allowed. For example: “1,2,3,4” or “1, 3, 5, 7”. A blank line will be considered the end
of the file. Logic electrode identifiers that are not present in the stringing configuration
present in the template at that time are not accepted, so it is advisable to configure the
electrode part first and only then load the input file;
•
if the electrode is absent, e.g. for a pole-dipole measurement, the value 0 must be
entered at the role.
An example of starting a file with measurements on 4 electrodes is shown:

Below is an example of starting a file with pole-dipole measurements:
