Retrieving Xplorer Data into DataStudio
DataStudio is the software used for retrieving logged data
from the Xplorer. DataStudio offers rich graphing, analy-
sis, data editing and multimedia Workbook capabilities not
possible with the Xplorer alone. When retrieving data
from an Xplorer, DataStudio adds the following to the
open activity:
• Each sensor for which the Xplorer has a stored data
set.
• Each data set stored in the Xplorer.
(DataStudio creates one run for each “set” retrieved from
the Xplorer.)
To retrieve data from the Xplorer into DataStudio:
1. Connect Xplorer to the USB port on your computer.
(DataStudio software automatically launches if Xplorer
has stored data.)
2. When prompted, click the Retrieve Now button.
If you decline to retrieve data when DataStudio offers,
you can retrieve it later by plugging Xplorer to your
computer again.
When DataStudio creates runs from Xplorer data sets, it
numbers them sequentially based on the last run number in
