Result codes are informational messages sent from the
DataPort 2001 and displayed on your monitor. These messages
are the DataPort 2001’s response to commands you issue to the
DataPort 2001. They can inform you of the status of a call (Ring,
No Answer), or whether or not a command is valid (OK, Error),
or whether or not the DataPort 2001 has connected using error
control (Connect 14400 V42/MNP/Bfr).
The DataPort 2001 is factory-configured to use the word format
(ATV1). If your computer requires that you use the numbers
format instead, refer to the Q
