FaxSTF

r Ver. 3.0 (Macintosh)

Version 3.0 of FaxSTF from STF Technologies has the DataPort
listed in its modem driver list, but this selection sets up the
wrong options. To use the DataPort 2001 with FaxSTF, perform
the following:

1.Open STF Settings.

2. Select FAX Modem.

3. Select MODEM.

4. Select Driver Type.

5. Select Class 1 for 9600 send/receive modem.

6. Change the Modem Initialization String to

AT&F%VF&D0\Q1EVS0=0.

7. Select SELECT.

8. Select DONE.

Note: Problems may be encountered if you set the software’s
Answer On ring count setting to one. If you experience
problems while the software is configured to answer on one ring,
then change this setting to a value other than one.
