2-5-2 Power connection and earth (Grounding)
When connecting the power supply, be sure to perform earth (grounding) properly. Failure to do so may cause electrical
shock in case of a failure or electrical leakage. Further, it may cause malfunction of the device.
The power supply terminal, protective conductor terminal and frame ground terminal are located as indicated below.

• The AC power cable is not included in this product. Use the specified optional cable or a cable with the enough rating
capacity to fulfil the power voltage specification of this product, which is compliant with the regulations and standards in
the country or region where it is used. For the optional cables, refer to “1-5-4 Cables” (P.29).

WARNING
• Perform the connection of the power terminal with power-off state. Failure to do
so may cause electrical shock.
1.
Connect the protective conductor terminal and the frame
ground terminal to the grounding part.
Screw size: M4
Tightening torque: 1.0N·m

• Before connecting the power supply, connect the protective conductor terminal and the frame ground terminal
permanently to the grounding part.
• Install such that the controller housing and the head housing are at the same electric potential.

Loosen two M3 screws of the power terminal casing and
remove it.

Remove the resin cover on the terminal.
