Terminating connection with the device
1) Terminate the connection from the device side.

The idle screen is displayed when the connection is terminated.

When forcibly terminating the connection without proper disconnection processing, such as turning off the device, it may take some time for
the idle screen to be displayed.
Using the moderator mode of MIRRORING
When the projector is used in the moderator mode and multiple devices are connected to the projector via MIRRORING,
the moderator can operate the projector and designate the device to connect.
1) Set the [NETWORK/USB] menu
→
[MIRRORING]
→
[MODERATOR MODE] to [ON].
2) Press the <MIRRORING> button.

The input changes to MIRRORING and the idle screen is displayed.
3) Search the possible display devices to connect on the Miracast compatible device, and select the
projector.
f
Check the receiver name displayed on the idle screen and select the device name corresponding to the
projector from the search results displayed on the device screen.
f
If you set the [NETWORK/USB] menu → [MIRRORING] → [CONNECTION TYPE] to [PIN], you may be
prompted to enter the PIN when connecting. In that case, enter the eight digit PIN code displayed at the top
of the idle screen.
4) Press
as
to select the desired device to connect and press the <ENTER> button.

Select the device screen to be projected with the projector from the device names displayed on the idle
screen.

The screen of the selected device will be projected after a while.

The device name displayed on the idle screen differs depending on the device and the application software in use. For the Windows
computers compatible with Miracast, the computer name is displayed.

When you press the <ENTER> button while the device screen is displayed, the idle screen is displayed. If you press

to select another
device, the projected image will change.

You can also select the device to be projected from the web browser. For details, refer to “Operating from the web browser” (

page 138).

If you press the <AUTO SETUP/CANCEL> button while the device screen is displayed, the receiver name is displayed at the upper left of
the screen.

When using in moderator mode, the HDCP compliant DVD or copyright protected contents cannot be displayed.
