The factory default setting of [KEY] is the network ID string “Projxxxx” (xxxx is a 4-digit number.). The network ID is a fixed value assigned to
each projector. The network ID can be checked on the idle screen projected when switching to Panasonic APPLICATION input.
Setting [M-DIRECT]
1) Press

to select [WIRELESS LAN].
2) Press

to select [M-DIRECT].
3) Press the <ENTER> button.

[WIRELESS DETAILED SETUP]
screen is displayed.
4) Press

to select each item and change the setting according to the menu operating
instructions.
[IP ADDRESS]
Enter the IP address.
[SUBNET MASK]
Enter the subnet mask.
[SSID]
Set the SSID to use.
[CHANNEL]
Select the channel to use.
[KEY]
Select the key to use.
Enter either 8 to 63 ASCII characters or a 64-digit string in the hexadecimal format.
5) After changing the settings, select [OK] and press the <ENTER> button.

If [KEY] is kept as the factory default value, there is a danger that the radio wave is intercepted by a malicious third party and the
communication content is leaked. Make sure to change it from the factory default value.

For the setting of each item, contact your network administrator.

Do not use ANY connection by setting “any” or “ANY” character string in SSID. ANY connection is a method of connecting to the wireless
LAN host that has the best radio wave condition detected within the range that the radio waves of the wireless LAN supported device can
reach.

[KEY] may be displayed as “the password of SSID” depending on the device.
f
The authentication method is fixed to WPA2-PSK and the encryption method is fixed to AES, and they cannot be changed.

When set to [M-DIRECT], the projector can function as a DHCP server. For devices that are connected to the projector via wireless LAN, set
them to acquire IP address automatically.

screen and the search results of the SSID are displayed. Up to 50 SSIDs (maximum
5 pages) can be found at a time.

The currently selected SSID is normally shown at the top with the

mark on its left.

The encrypted SSID is displayed with the key icon.

The antenna level of each SSID is indicated by the number of ■. The greater the number, the higher the
antenna level.

To search for SSID again, press the <DEFAULT> button.
4) Press

to select SSID from the search results, and press the <ENTER> button.
