Checking the Movement of Safety Area Sensor (Front Side) : General safety specification

∗

This section describes the operation with the power ON at the front side of the machine.

The safety area sensor consists of a pair of the light emitting and receiving sides, and is set on
each of the front and rear sides of this machine. Check the proper operation of sensor.

Turn ON the power.

Turn OFF the servo switch.

Put the scale in the sensor area.

∗

When the sensor area is shielded, check that
the red LED of the sensor on receiving side
lights.

DO NOT DISABLE SAFETY SENSOR.

You will have serious injury by active part if you disable safety sensor.

Do not remove the sensor, put any objects in or turn off the switch so that the safety sensor work properly

and effectively.
