1.9.14 Utility—Default Parameters
Specifies TVA Type, Mailbox No. Length, System Manager’s Mailbox No., Message Manager’s Mailbox No.,
PBX Type, Integration Mode, and other parameters as the default settings.
Follow the steps below for Default Parameters:

Utility
in the menu bar.
2.
Select
Default Parameters
.
Set Default
1.
Select "Set Default".
2.
Specify TVA Type, PBX Type, Integration Mode, and set parameters.
Note
•
The mailbox numbers assigned to the System Manager and Message Manager cannot begin
with "0".
3.
Click
OK
.
Load Default: Loads the parameters programmed in "Set Default" to the VPS.

Select "Load Default".

1.9.15 Utility—Profile Setup
The settings required to connect to the VPS (LAN settings, dial-up settings, etc.) can be stored as a Connection
Profile, allowing you to connect to the VPS quickly. This feature is also useful if you have several customers,
because you can save a Connection Profile for each customer’s VPS without having to enter connection
settings manually each time.
[Creating a New Connection Profile]
1.
Click
Utility
in the menu bar.
2.
Select
Profile Setup...
.
3.
Click
New
.
4.
Enter a name for the profile, and the password required to connect to the VPS.
•
If you do not enter a password here, you will need to enter the password manually each time you
connect to the VPS using this profile.
5.
Select the desired connection protocol.
6.
For LAN connections, enter the IP address and port number of the VPS used for KX-TVA Maintenance
Console programming sessions. For Modem connections, select the PC’s modem, the telephone number
used to connect to the VPS modem, and the port number of the VPS used for KX-TVA Maintenance
Console programming sessions. You may also edit the modem initialize command if necessary.

Click
Save

[Editing a Connection Profile]
1.
Click
Utility
in the menu bar.
2.
Select
Profile Setup...
.
3.
Select the desired profile, then click
Edit
.
4.
Change the settings as necessary.
5.
Click
Save
