7. Recording Motion Pictures
Using a stereo shotgun microphone (DMW-MS2: optional) or stereo microphone
(VW-VMS10: optional), you can record sounds with quality superior to those recorded with
the built-in microphone.
• Some optional accessories may not be available in some countries.

Setting the [MIC] terminal that suits the device to be connected.
• The setting will be fixed to [Mic Input (Plug-in Power)] when a stereo gun microphone
(DMW-MS2: optional) is connected.
• When using [Mic Input (Plug-in Power)], if you connect an external microphone that does
not require power supply, the connected external microphone may malfunction. Check the
device before connecting.

• Do not use the stereo microphone cables with the length of 3 m (9.8 feet) or more.
