2. With the surround backing plate positioned in front of the fireplace, position the switch in behind the open

slot in the backing plate and screw into place (Figure 90).

Note: The SIT remote handset and receiver can be paired at this time before the surround backing
plate and surround are installed in their final locations. See “Pairing the SIT Remote Handset and
Receiver” on page 39 for instructions.

3. Install the surround backing plate and surround.
