Log set Installation
Note:
Panel set must be installed before the Split log set installation begins.
1. Begin by placing the air deflector / 1st log support (Figure 64) behind the rear burner and up against the
rear wall (Figure 65). Position so that the lip faces toward the front of the fireplace. Fasten the deflector
down with supplied screws. Once the deflector is secured, there should be a gap of approximately 1/2
inch between the deflector and the rear burner (Figure 66). This gap is required for air flow. Also secure
the Ember pieces Retainer (Figure 64) along the back of the rear burner. This will help to keep the ember
pieces from spilling over from the burner and down into the air gap.
2. Place the right side mesh guard (Figure 67) on the right of the burners and secure with supplied screws
(Figure 68).
