Glass Media Installation
1. With the interior panels and the ceramic glass baffle installed, place the burner tray (Figure 50) inside and
over the burners and secure in place (total of 10 screws to be used). Place the decorative front edge plate
(Figure 51) so that it hooks over the edge of the burner tray. This plate does not fasten to anything and
simply rests in place.
2. Add a thin layer of crushed glass on top of the burners and the burner tray (Figure 53). When placing the
crushed glass on the burner tray, leave enough room around the pilot and rectifier flame so that it is not
impeded.
Avoid dumping entire contents of bag onto the burner tray as fine glass particles at the
bottom of the bag can block burner ports and hamper the function of the venturi mechanism.
3. Keep the gap between the two burners free from all crushed glass (Figure 53). This gap is required for air
flow.
