10. Place log number two (Figure 56) so that the post protruding from the bottom of this log can be inserted
into the hole of the left base piece. Then position the front tip of the log so that it rests on top of the
spacer (Figure 81). The log and the ember pieces should ideally hide the spacer.
11. Place log number three (Figure 57) so that the post protruding from the bottom of this log can be inserted
into the hole of the right-hand base piece. The front tip of the log should be very close to, or just touching,
the center base piece (Figure 82).
12. There is a location post on top of the 3rd log (Figure 82) that is used to accommodate a slot located on the
bottom of the 4th log (Figure 58). Place the 4th log’s slot on top of the 3rd log’s post. Position the front (or
lower) end of the 4th log so that it sits on the rear edge of the front burner as shown in Figure 83.
