Careful attention to this instruction manual and the recommended safety
guidelines is essential for the safe operation of the NANO 1000S.
!
Proper operator training is required for operation of the NANO 1000S. Any
unauthorized mechanical or electrical modifications made to the NANO
1000S, as well as improper operation, voids all warranty claims. All
service issues need to be reported to the manufacturer or supplier.
Operate unit as specified in this manual.
Disconnect from power before opening unit.
Do not rest anything on the working wheel.
Ensure that the air slots on the back panel remain unobstructed.
Turn off water when machine is not in use.
Hold all samples securely (using two hands is recommended).
3.3 Emergency Statement
The NANO 1000S polisher has been designed for polishing metallographic
specimens up to a 2- inch diameter.
DO NOT GRIND OR POLISH
oversized
samples (greater than 1/3 the diameter of the working wheel). Always follow
proper operational guidelines and avoid contact with moving parts, lubricants
and abrasives. Seek immediate medical care for cutting injuries.
