BDE Installation Procedure

5.3.1

Rack Installation Criteria



Install the CCU in a 19-inch rack



If a bracket is supplied, use the supplied bracket for the installation.



Note the depth of the CCU and DSS.



Consider the location of the interface elements when choosing the correct interface
type and cable.



Location should be easily accessible to the operator.



Allow sufficient maintenance access for technical staff to the rear panel, where the
cables are connected.



Allow for heat dissipation (about 30cm)



Allow for a sufficiently shallow bend in the coaxial cable when connected to the CCU.



Free area around to access cables



Access to UPS
