place. “Start at” does not make the bath skip warming/cooling
steps! Make sure that the “Start at” temperature and first cooling
step are in logical correlation with each other”.
Tip!
- First bath step is a
warming
step? Make sure “Start at” is at least 3 ºC
higher than the sample’s ambient temperature.
- With a bath warming step, “Start at” temperature must be entered.
- First bath step is a
cooling
step? Make sure “Start at” is at least 3 ºC
lower than the sample’s ambient temperature.
- With a bath cooling step, entering “Start at” temperature is not
necessary. “Start at” START is sufficient for a successful test.
•
Sampling rate: select the measurement temperature interval
(measurement every 1 ºC, every 2 ºC, or every 3 ºC, and so on).
•
Move CP:
o
When switched ON, the jar will be moved/lifted out of the cooling
bath at every measurement interval.
o
When switched OFF, the jar will stay inside the bath throughout the
entire test.
NOTE: although the setting can affect the sample’s cooling profile
and thus the end result of the test, lifting the jar not affect the
actual detection performance of the camera. (E.g. for the camera it
does not matter whether the jar is in or out of the bath).
Cooling profile:
Press “+” to add the first cooling step.
•
Bath: enter desired bath temperature.
o
Pressing the
🔄
symbol determines whether the set temperature is a
fixed temperature (ºC), or the amount of degrees per hour the
cooling bath will ramp down (ºC/h). This ramping option should be
chosen when making a method for linear cooling, for instance for
the EN16329 method.
