11 BACKUP BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The PC board inside the Keratron™ uses a lithium battery for storing configuration
options necessary to operation.
The type of battery used is the CR 2032 and the battery voltage is 3V.
NOTE:
The replacement of an exhausted battery (with its wiring) must be made by the
Optikon 2000 SpA technical assistance or by personnel, authorized by the latter in
order to avoid a dangerous situation.
NOTE:
To avoid the loss of fluids, in the case of prolonged instrument inactivity, contact
Technical Support Optikon 2000 SpA or the staff, authorized by the latter, for the
removal of the battery.
NOTE:
Dispose of the battery in accordance with the Environmental Warnings of § 3.2.
