Test Level
The quality of the network voltage must be that
of a typical retail or hospital environment. If the
user of the Keratron
™
Nova requires the
device to work continually even during a power
cut, we recommend powering the Keratron
™
Nova with an uninterruptable power supply
(UPS) or a batteries.

Portable and mobile RF communication
devices must not be used near to any part of
the Keratron
®
Nova, including the cables,
except where they adhere to the
recommended distance of separation,
calculated by the equation applicable to the
transmitter's frequency.
Recommended separation distance:
d= 1.2
√
P
d= 1.2
√
P from 80MHz to 800 MHz
d= 2.3
√
P from 800MHz to 2.5 GHz
where
P
is the maximum output power rating
of the transmitter in watts (W) according to
the transmitter manufacturer and
d
is the
recommended separation distance in meters
(m)
The intensity of the RF fixed transmitter fields,
as determined in an electromagnetic survey
a
of the site, could be less than the conformity
level in each frequency interval.
