Insert the pin of the hand wheel fully to mount on a slit lamp in the hole for 
accessories of the same LAF (or movable base) and turn the knob in the direction 
indicated by "TIGHT" (tight), i.e. clockwise. This will expand the pin so as to provide 
a firm connection. 
 
 

 

Avoid extending the pin before it is fully inserted into the hole of the slit lamp 
to avoid forcing the extension mechanism.
