In the calibration phase, during various acquisitions of the calibration sphere, one
should first take action on the joystick of the slit lamp or device handle until the
central OK arrow is lit up
steady,
then press the button to capture the image.
You
should avoid reaching the OK position with the button already pressed.
WARNING:
It is a good idea to repeat the calibration procedure
every day
when you turn on the
Keratron™ Nova. It is in any case essential to carry out cleaning after the
installation or upon moving
the unit or accidental bumping the cone (the cone may
be slightly misaligned due to dislodgment).
7.2 SETTINGS [SETTINGS]
With the selection on the
touch screen
of the
Settings
function, you can access a
window that lets you know which versions of the firmware and software are available
on the Keratron™ Nova and configure some options of the machine.
7.2.1 ABOUT
In the
About
folder, in addition to the serial number of the instrument, also the
version and
checksum
of the user interface software components are shown
(Nova.exe and Nova.dll). The same information is legible for the
firmware
resident in
the electronics of the instrument. The software designers of all these applications is
Optikon 2000 SpA to which you can refer for any question.
