7 USE OF THE KERATRON™ NOVA - HOME SCREEN
NOTE:
This manual describes controls and messages in the
default
state, i.e. in English
[English] language. The location and meaning of the messages and controls does
not change with the selected language.
Keratron™ Nova is turned on setting the main switch to "I". After some tens of
seconds, it is displayed to the user with the screen shown in figure 7-1.

In it are intuitively represented, in addition to all the measurement functions of the
instrument, also the configuration functions and accessory (Settings), topography
calibration (Calibration) and database management (Database).
The use of the
touch-screen
allows the selection of the desired function by touching
the screen with the
touch-pen
made of plastic or provided with an other pen,
specifically suited for a
touch screen
, with a rounded plastic tip.
NOTE: The use of another type of pen or tool may damage the touch screen
irreversibly.
