11.5 - Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do if my LG2 will not read a barcode?
1. Make sure the barcode is enabled, as not all barcodes are enabled by default.
2. Check to see you are the appropriate distance from the barcode by checking the
decode zone diagram on page 8 of the User’s Manual.
3. Make sure the barcode is not smeared.
4. See chapter 8 to configure reader for longer decode times or for non-standard inks.
5. Send a sample of the barcode to Opticon, Inc.
