Charging indicator during charging
Indicator Meaning
Blinking
(Light turns on and goes off every 0.5
seconds)
Battery charging is in progress.
Alternates between blinking (2 times)
and light off (approx. 1 second)
Unable to charge battery as the surrounding
temperature is too low or too high.
Charge the battery in an environment with a temperature
between 0 to 40ºC.
Light blinks at a high speed
(continuous)
Unable to charge due to communication error with the
battery.
→ Check whether the battery terminal is dirty.
→
Check whether a battery other than the specified
battery is used.
If the problem persists, it could be due to deterioration
of the battery.
Replace the battery with a new one.
3-2 Attaching and removing the optical adapter
NOTE
●
Be sure to attach the O-ring to the distal end of the insertion tube before using the optical
adapter.
Water or dirt that enters the unit from the connecting area between the insertion tube and the
optical adapter may cause malfunction or damage to the unit. Also note that the optical
adapter by itself is not watertight.
●
Never use the instrument while dirt or water is attached inside the optical adapter.
Otherwise, the water tightness between the optical adapter and the distal end may be lost, or
the optical adapter or the distal end may be damaged.
●
When replacing the adapter, do not hold the insertion tube at the part that is beyond the
angulation section and closer to the distal end.
Otherwise, the angulation section may be damaged.
