After ensuring that the stereo optical adapter is properly mounted, select “OK” and
press the [MEAS/OK] joystick.

See “Attaching the stereo optical adapter” (page 70) for details about operations.

Adjust the brightness of the white image.

Use the check tool that comes supplied with the stereo optical adapter.
Insert the distal end of the insertion tube all the way into the far end of the forward view or
side view guide hole, turn the check tool to adjust the orientation such that the protrusion
at the center of the white recessed part moves close to the center of the field of view,
followed by operating the [BRT] lever to adjust the brightness.
