Dual-function key:
PAUSE
-
used for inserting a pause between the digits
forming a fax or telephone number.
REDIAL
-
used for redialling the last number dialled using
the numeric keypad.
Dual-function key:
HOOK
-
used for hearing the dialling tone - through a
built-in speaker - while dialling the correspondent's
fax or telephone number ("handsfree" dialling).
TALK
-
used for requesting a telephone conversation
while sending or receiving a facsimile.
Dual-function key:
EXTERNAL
-
It must be pressed before dialling or recording an
external number when the facsimile machine is
connected via an exchange (PBX).
SECOND TONE -
When required, it enables a second dial tone to
be detected during dialling for connection with
special intercontinental exchanges.
When this key is pressed during pulse dialling, you switch to tone
dialling.
On each key, as well as storing a group of numbers, you can
set the time of transmission and set the graphic definition of
the document to be sent (contrast, resolution and image).
