Programming System Options
Your cash register's system options programming feature includes 6
options for the operation of the cash register. Each of the functions
described in this section is already set upon delivery of the cash register to
meet the most frequent requirements. The cash register's factory default
settings, which you can reprogram at any time, are indicated in bold print in
the table below.
Machine Settings
Condition
1 0 = No digit after the decimal point
1 = 1 digit after the decimal point
2
= 2 digits after the decimal point
3 = 3 digits after the decimal point
7 0 = Foreign currency conversion not allowed
1 = Foreign currency conversion allowed
8 0 = Zero price entry not allowed
1 = Zero price entry allowed
9 0 = Print foreign currency conversion at tender only
1 = Always print foreign currency conversion (*)
10 0 = Local currency as cash register's base currency
1 = Foreign currency as cash register's base currency
11 0 = Clerk security consists of the entry of Clerk number only to
perform sales transactions
1 = Clerk security consists of the entry of Clerk number and its
associated three-digit security code to perform sales
transactions
(*) When setting 1 is selected for this machine condition, the foreign
currency conversion is printed in the following cases:
• After the sales total on the sales receipt
• After the change due amount
• As a RA/PO value
• After net sales total in Z report
Changing the Cash Register's Standard Settings
Proceed as follows if you wish to change any of the standard machine
settings indicated in the previous table:
1. Slide the control switch to the PRG position.
2. Type the
[number]
of the machine condition that you wish to alter.
3. Type the [number] of the required setting.
4. Press the [RA/ ] key.
5. Program another feature or exit the program mode by sliding the
control switch to the OFF position.
Example:
Program the cash register to work with a foreign base
currency.
Type/Press:
[10] + [1] + [RA/ ]
