(3) Installation of duplex unit

This unit is used for printing on two sides of paper.

Note!

For two-sided printing, it is recommended to add an expansion memory. For details,

see "Expansion memories".

Type: DXU-C4D

Turning OFF the MFP power and disconnecting the power cord

Note!

If an expansion memory is installed with the power switched ON, the MFP may be

broken.

Peeling the protective tapes off the duplex unit

Install Duplex Unit

1) Insert the duplex unit into the lower part on the back of the MFP as far as it will go.

2) Ensure that the claw on either side of the duplex unit is securely accommodated in the

hole of the MFP.
