Material damage
Do not install the tundish close to any electrical
appliances.
Note
If using secondary return circuits, an additional ex-
pansion vessel is required.
9.3.7 DHW system safety valve drain
»
Install a safety valve in the cold water inlet pipe. Note
that, depending on the supply pressure, you may also
need a pressure reducing valve.
»
Size the safety valve drain so that the water can drain
freely via an open and readily visible waste water
drain.
»
Observe national and regional regulations regarding
the design of the drain and prescribed regular opera-
tional tests.
»
Install the hose with a consistent fall to the drain.
Avoid kinking the hose.
»
Secure the drain hose to prevent movement when
water is running out.
9.3.8 Filling the DHW tank
»
Fill the DHW tank via the cold water connection.
»
Open all downstream draw-off valves until the appli
-
ance is filled and the pipework is free from air.
»
Adjust the flow rate.
Observe the maximum permissi-
ble flow rate with fully opened valve.
»
If necessary, reduce the flow rate at the pressure re
-
ducing valve on the safety assembly.
»
Carry out a leakage test.
»
Test the safety valve.
9.4 Venting the appliance
Material damage
After venting, the air vent valves must be closed
again.
There are two methods of venting the appliance.
Version 1:
»
To vent the system, temporarily open the air vent
valve on the multifunctional assembly.
1 Multifunctional assembly
2 Air vent valve
Material damage
The air outlet in the screw cap of the air vent valve
on the multifunctional assembly must not point
towards the electronics in the multifunctional as-
sembly.
»
Turn the air outlet in the direction indicated in
the following figure.
Version 2:
»
Remove the appliance cladding. (See page 33,
Disassembling the appliance casing)
»
To vent the system, temporarily open the air vent
valve.
