11. Initial start-up
Material damage
The power supply to the main electrical circuit
(compressor) must not be switched on until the re-
frigerant circuit has been filled with refrigerant and
the hydraulic system filled with the correct medium.

Permanent operation of the heating circulation
pump before commissioning of the system is com-
pleted can result in damage to the pump or system.

Switch off the power supply to the controller
after initial start-up.
11.1 Before initial start-up
The heat pump has no separate ON/OFF switch. In an
emergency, the system must be shut down via the specified
safety device. The safety device must be accessible so that
an emergency shutdown can be performed at any time.
WARNING: Electrocution
The initial start-up of electrical systems is permitted
only in the presence of a qualified contractor.

Make sure that no one can be put at risk during the
initial start-up.

Make sure that the heat sink system (heating and
DHW heating) has been connected to the heat pump.

Make sure that the hydraulic system is filled with
water.

Make sure that the electrical installation has been
carried out and completed professionally.
Material damage
Operating the circulation pumps without water in
the system will destroy the pumps.
11.2 Testing the control circuit
Once all the above conditions have been checked, the con-
troller supply (OTS controller, 230 VAC) can be switched
on so that the individual functions can be tested.

Check all the sensors and their values for accuracy.

Check all controller outputs used in your hydraulic
system for correct function.
